"Former Adamsville Boy Taken by Death Sunday
Emmett Snoots, aged 40, died Sunday evening at 5:45 at the Coshocton city hospital following an operation for an abscessed liver. His death followed an illness of seven weeks duration.
Mr. Snoots was born at Adamsville on July 20, 1891, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Snoots. When he was 19 years of age he went to Coshocton, and a year later was united in marriage to Mary Fitch of Coshocton.
The deceased was a member of the Eagles lodge and the Adamsville Methodist church.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two childdren, Evelyn and Caroline Snoots of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Matthews, Cambridge; Mrs. Jennie Jones and Mrs. D.T. Wyland, both of Coshocton, and a brother, Charles T. Snoots of Cleveland.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon at the Hanlon funeral home. Rev. Oscar M. Adam will officiate at the funeral, and burial will be made in South Lawn cemetery."
