Fannie McClellan

Mrs. Fannie McClellan, 86, formerly of Route 4, Eaton, Ohio, died Dec. 10 at McCullaugh-Hyde Memorial Hospital, Oxford, after a brief illness.

She was a native of Preble County and had lived here most of her life. She was living with her daughter, Mary Baker, of Oxford, when she passed. Fannie was the widow of Frank P. McClellan, who died in 1968.

Survivors include five sons, Roy, John and James, all of Eaton, Earl of Richmond, Ind., and Beryl of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four daughters, Mildred Plyley of Richmond, Ind., Alice Fugate of Lewisburg, Effie Zumbrun of Eaton and Mary Baker of Oxford; grand-children; great-grandchildren; g-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Three children are deceased.

Funeral services were Dec. 13 at Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, Eaton, with the Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating.

Burial was in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton.

My notes: Daughter of Valentine IV Wysong and Emma E. Borridaille Wysong. She married Frank P. McClellan March 15, 1915 in Preble County, Ohio.

Robert McClellan 1918-1938, Catherine Elizabeth McClellan 1919-1921, and Margaret McClellan Wise 1923-1982, are the three deceased children mentioned above.
