She married Celestin A. "Celly" Brown on April 10, 1953, in St. Louis. He preceded her in death Jan. 6, 1999.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria.
Survivors include six daughters, Verda Ruth Rohr and husband, Victor, Ellsworth, Frances Knoll, Lakewood, Colo., Carol Lou Keith and husband, Bernard, Morland, Vera Kuhn, Hays, Janie Tholen and husband, Jim, Vincent, and Kathy Striggow, Hill City; a daughter-in-law, Jeanette Brown, Victoria; 29 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; 61 great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was prededed in death by four brothers, John Rohleder, Nick Rohleder, Raymond Rohleder, and Felix Rohleder; an infant brother, Edmund Rohleder; four sisters, Margaret Rohleder, Clara Klaus, Celestina "Sally" Lang, and Ann Arnold; and a son, LeRoy Brown.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria; burial in St. Fidelis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 Saturday, both at Cline's Mortuary 412 Main Victoria, KS 67671. A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to St. Fidelis Cemetery Fund, Cedar View Assisted Living Center or Masses in care of the mortuary.
