A funeral mass for Ray P. Rohleder, 78, of Kimball, who died May 11, 1987 in a Cheyenne hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Fidelis Catholic Church at Victoria, Kan., with the Rev. Gene Emrisek officiating. Burial will be in St. Fidelis Cemetery at Victoria. A memorial was established in care of the family.

He was born Sept. 6, 1908 to Peter and Amelia (Haas) in Russia.

He grew up and attended schools in St. Peter, Kan., and married Mary VonLintle May 23, 1933 at Victoria.

They lived in Victoria until the early 1950's when they moved to Russell, Kan., and moved to Kimball in 1956 and have lived here since. He worked in the oil fields. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church here.

Survivors include his daughters, Marie Hinricks and Norma Lee Tomson, both of Kimball, and Dorieen Powell of Bunker Hill, Kan.; brothers, John and Nick, both of Victoria, and Felix of Northbrooke, Ill.; sisters, Helen Brown of WaKeeney, Kan., Celestine Lang of Glenview, Ill., and Anna Arnold of Hays, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife and three sisters.
