COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Clella Marie Wright, 78, of Cookeville, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ.
Burial will be in the Cookeville Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 5, from 5-8 p.m. at Crest Lawn Funeral Home and Friday from 9 a.m. until time of services at the church.
Mrs. Wright passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, at Masters Health Care Center.
She was born Nov. 11, 1931, in Jackson County to the late Daniel C. and Mary E. Flatt Wheeler.
Mrs. Wright was a member of Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ. She worked a number of years with the NCR Corporation but dedicated all her years to her husband and family. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
Her family includes her husband, Paul A. Wright of Cookeville; a daughter and son-in-law, Laura Wright Holley and Kevin Holley of Richmond, Ind.; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Thelma and James Clark of Portland, Mary Goolsby and Mae Stults, both of Cookeville; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, James C. Wheeler of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Mack and Faye Wheeler of Lynnville and Garland and Wilma Wheeler of Cookeville; a grandson, Zachary Holley of Richmond, Ind.; a granddaughter, Vanessa Holley of Richmond, Ind.; four sisters-in-law, Yvonne, Roslyn, Sue and Diane Wheeler, all of Cookeville; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by a sister, Vera Reels; five brothers, Julian D., Earl, Martin, Willie and Lewis Wheeler; a sister-in-law, Vagia Wheeler; three brothers-in-law, L.B. Reels, Perry Stults and Bruce Goolsby.
Bros. Gary Hampton and Gary Johnson will officiate the services.
