MRS. POWER, 80, PASSES AWAY~SUFFERED A STROKE OF APOPLEXY

Mrs. Elizabeth Thompson Power, age 80, died at Her home Friday evening, January 19th, following a stroke of apoplexy, which She suffered the week previous. The deceased was the widow of the late Levi Power, who died in June 1927. She was born in Louisville, July 3, 1853, a daughter of Robert and Margaret Rutherford Thompson. She married Levi Power in 1881.

The funeral was largely attended from the home Sunday afternoon. Her pastor, Rev. J. M. Peyton, of the Louisville Community Church, officiated. Burial was in the family plot in the village cemetery. The floral tributes were beautiful. She leaves to mourn Her loss two sons, Robert at home, Minard of Massena and two daughters, Mrs. James D. Bradford and Mrs. George Browning of the river road and eight grandchildren and one sister, Miss Margaret A. Thompson of Flackville, besides other more distant relatives and a large circle of friends, who mourn the loss of a dear one.
