Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Letitia Matthews Power; one son, Ivan Power, Massena and two daughters, Mrs. Leon (Irene) P. Dickerson, Ossining and Mrs. Hiram (Alice) Sutton, Winthrop; one brother, Robert Power, Louisville and one sister, Mrs. George (Hazel) Browning, Louisville; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Power was born August 15, 1888, a descendant of early Louisville families. He attended district schools and in early life, he married Miss Ethel Jones, Chase Mills. The three children were born to that union. Sometime, after her death, he married Miss Letitia Matthews.
For some years, Mr. and Mrs. Power spent the winters in Florida and their summers in Louisville. However, during the past 13 years, they have remained in Florida, throughout the year. Mr. Power was a member of Louisville Community Church.
