SWEET GIRL IS TAKEN
CATHERINE BEBER PASSES AWAY AT
HOME OF PARENTS LAST NIGHT
Miss Catherine Beber, 17, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. William Beber, died
at their home at 1059 North Anderson
street, last evening at 10:15 o'clock
of tuberculosis, after a gallant fight
against illness for a year and one-
half.
Catherine was a sweet girl, beloved
by all who knew her and was one of
the bright students of St. Joseph's
parochial school until ill health requir
ed that she give up her duties. She
will be greatly missed in all circles.
She is survived by the parents,
three brothers, William, Jr., Louis and
Joseph, and two sisters, Mrs. Clarence
Weed and Mrs. John Gilbert, all resi-
dents of Elwood.
Funeral services will be conducted
at St. Joseph's church Monday morn-
ing at 8 o'clock by the pastor, Father
Biegel, and her schoolmates will at-
tend in a body. The burial will be in
the Catholic cemetery.
