GIBBON — Dora Hoppenstedt, 90, of Rogers, Ark. and formerly of Minneapolis and Gibbon died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1997, at the Innisfree Nursing Center in Rogers, Ark.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon with burial in Clear Lake Baptist Cemetery in Severance Township, Sibley County.
Visitation is one hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law. Jean and William Jackson of Rogers, Ark.: two grandchildren: three great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Jeanette and Vincent Peterson of Pierz, and Rose Peterson of Stager, Ill.; brother and sister-in-law, Jewel and Gloria Carlson of Bruce, S.D.
She was preceded in death by husband, Edgar Hoppenstedt on April 15, 1995; eight brothers and one sister.
She was born August 14, 1906 in Gibbon, Minn., to John H. and Beda Carlson. She attended country school in the Gibbon area. She married Edgar Hoppenstedt on May 7, 1926 in Minneapolis. They lived in Minneapolis. She moved to Rogers, Ark., in 1995 after her husband's death.
