-- Matrell Adams Small Robinson, 81, died Friday, July 30, 2010, at Springs Memorial Hospital. Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of Henry J. Adams and Daisy Plyler Adams. Mrs. Robinson was twice married, first to the late Joe Cecil Small and later to Harold L. "Bill" Robinson. She was retired from Springs Industries Grace Fabrication as a quality inspector. She was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church and the Camp Creek Eastern Star.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by two daughters, Ms. Nancy Small Livesay and Mrs. Dolly Small Hinson and her husband, Tim Hinson, all of Lancaster; a son, Tommy Harold Robinson of Lancaster; a brother Mr. Hazel "Randolph" Adams of Lancaster; a sister, Mrs. Dora Berryman of Columbia; three grandchildren, Christy Carter, Crystal Peigler and Melissa Worthington; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler Carter, Justin Livesay, Austin Wemes, Lesley McClam, Blake Jenkins, Briana Jenkins and Matthew Jenkins.
Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Dianne Small Plyler; and a brother, Mr. Woodrow Adams.
The celebration of life funeral service for Mrs. Robinson will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, at Camp Creek Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Randy Mellenchamp and Don Waldrop. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Camp Creek Baptist Church, Building Fund, 998 Potter Road, Lancaster, S.C.
