Thomas M. Malecha

Thomas M. Malecha of 308 S. Linden, Northfield died after an extended illness in the Dilley Convalescent unit of Northfield Hospital. His death occurred on December 2, 1976, just four days before what would have been his 76th birthday anniversary.
Malecha was born on December 6, 1900 at Vesli, the son of Frank and Elizabeth Skluzzacek) Malecha. After attending the Lonsdale public schools, he married Mary Valek at Lonsdale on November 16, 1926.
He had lived in Northfield since 1954. Prior to that he lived in rural Lakeville
For years, he was employed in maintenance by the Grain Terminal Association.
He was a member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Workmen.
He is survived by his wife Mary; three sons, Leonard of Flagstaff, Arizona; Eugene of Lakeville and Raphael of Madison Lake; three daughters:, Marion (Albin) Dohmen of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; Theresa (Al) Perry of Brindisi, Italy; Bernadette Callstrom of Northfield; 32 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren
