Frank Vencil Malecha, 83, of Northfield died Sunday, July 28, 1991, at the Dilley Unit in Northfield Hospital.
Malecha was born December 24, 1907 to Frank and Elizabeth ( Skluzacek) Malecha. He attended rural schools.
On November 16, 1931 he married Lillian Valek in Hazelwood. The couple farmed in the Hazelwood area.
Malecha was a longtime member of the Lonsdale Catholic Workmen.
Preceding him in death were his wife and two grandchildren.
Survivors include five daughters Dorothy (Joe) Pumper and Adeline (Ray T.) Malecha of Northfield, Judy (George) Voracek of Lonsdale, Jane (Joe) Pesta of Montgomery and Sister Francette (Darlene) of St. Paul; four sons Larry (Mary Ann) Francis T. "Butch" (Barb) of Northfield, David (Rita) of Webster and Mike (Carol) of Kasson; 36 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two sisters Marcella Valek of Northfield and Anna Andreas of Webster and three brothers Joe F.C. of Northfield, Jim of Webster and Jerome of Faribault.
