ALICE G. DEYOUNG, age 82, of Rensselaer, IN, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in the emergency room at Jasper County Hospital.
Alice was born in Fair Oaks, IN on November 2, 1927, the daughter of Martin and Hilda (Bennema) Musch.
For 25 years Alice delivered the Post-Tribune newspaper. On December 15, 1948, in DeMotte, Indiana Alice married Kenneth DeYoung, Sr. who passed away August 26, 2002.
Surviving are 5 children, Howard (Debra) DeYoung, Merrillville, IN, Leonard (Bonnie) DeYoung, Rensselaer, IN, Linda (Bill) Beavers, Crossville, TN, Kenneth (Diana) DeYoung, Jr., Rensselaer, IN and Colleen (Paul) Schafer, Rensselaer, IN; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Gerald (Gloria) Musch, and Garrett (Evelyn) Musch; 2 sisters, Evelyn Terborg and Marge (John) Kaluf, all of DeMotte, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth, a daughter, Shirley Johnson and brother-in-law, Lawrence Terborg.
Friends may call at the Jackson Funeral Service of DeMotte, IN Friday, July 30, 2010 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Jackson Funeral Service of DeMotte, IN on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Dennis Morros officiating.
