Born in Gentilly in 1885, the 5th child of Fabien Regimbal and Salome LaBerge, he was their second born in the United States.
When he was a year old, his parents moved the family to Crookston where he became brother to 4 more siblings.
In 1897, at the age of 12, he and his family left Crookston to start a new life in Washington State. They settled in Moxee and farmed there for the first few years.
About 1908, he married Annie Quesnell (1887-1956) and started a family. Their first child was named Clifford Francis Xavier (1909-1981).
In 1910, X co-owned a butcher shop in Moxee with his brother in law, Harvey LaBree, starting from a single animal and selling door to door.
Their children, Alice Louise 'Buffalo' aka Sister Ann Clementine (1912-1997), Clement H. aka Fr Clement H. Regimbal (1914-1991), Roy (1917-1918), Robert A. (1919-1982), Elsie M. (1922-1996), and Louise, date unknown, were all born in Moxee City.
In 1925, with brothers Aime and Donat, he constructed a concrete building which over the years served Moxee as a grocery store - until a fire destroyed it in 1954.
He died in 1962 and is buried alongside wife, Anna, daughter, Ann Clementine, son, Robert A., and baby Roy. - M Fortier
