Mrs. Nannie Elizabeth Hutchison died last Wednesday night at 10 o'clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Pickett, with whom she had been making her home. She had been in declining health for some time and was seriously ill for several days before her death.

Mrs. Hutchison, who was a member of a pioneer family, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Feese, who lived near Columbia, and was born in 1849. She would have been 81 years of age in April. All of her life had been spent in Adair County. She was a member of the Christian Church, and in the course of a long and active life, was a person who had made many friends. For several years she kept the toll gate at Kellyville, on the Columbia-Campbellsville Pike.

Mrs. Hutchison is survived by six children, four brothers, and twenty-four grandchildren. Her husband died thirty-five years ago.
