W. M. Bullock, age 88, of Route 1, Watauga, died in the Carter County Memorial Hospital Thursday at 6:20 pm., following an extended illness. Mr. Bullock was a native of Carter County, and was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ida Bullock, January, 1959. He was a retired employee of American Bemberg Corp., and a member of the Borderview Christian church. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. J. R. Shipley, Route 1, Watauga; four sisters, Mrs. Maggie Boy, Bluff City; Mrs. Grace Buckles, Bluff City; Mrs. Kate Bateman, Route 3, Elizabethton; and Mrs. Maude Wilson, Route 3, Elizabethton; three brothers, George Bullock, Kentucky; E. W. Bullock, Elk Park, N. C; and Robert Bullock, Route 3, Elizabethton; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren also survive.
