Oral Paul Biddle

Oral Paul Biddle of Warriors Mark, Tyrone, R. D. 4, died Sunday, January 20, 1963, at 3:30 p.m. at his late home following an extended illness. He was born February 16, 1882, at Philipsburg, a son of William and Ossie (Meek) Biddle. He was married to Catherine Parks on February 16, 1917, at Six Mile Run. Surviving are his wife along with 15 children: Harold of Trafford, Williams[sic] of Clarence, N.Y., Cloyd of Long Beach, Calif., Paul of Dayton, Ohio, John of Oakfield, N.Y., Fred of Ft. Carson, Colo., Clifford of Ft. Knox, Ky., Raymond of Tyrone, Harry of Long Beach, Calif., George of Warriors Mark, Mrs. Vera Gardner of Tyrone, Mrs. Mildred Haag of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Betty McVay of Compton, Calif., Mrs. Josephine Hamilton of Huntingdon and Mrs. Phyllis Cunningham of Warriors Mark. There are 34 grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Jesse Walker of Detroit, Mich. Mrs. Biddle was of the Protestant faith. He was as retired farmer. Mr. Biddle resided in the Warriors Mark area for 45 years. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, at 2 p.m. in from the Cox funeral home at Warriors Mark. The Rev. Daniel F. Koon will officiate. Interment will be made in the Burket Cemetery. Friends will be received at the f unreal home after 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday until the hour for the service on Thursday.
