He is survived by a daughter, Karin Biddle of Janesville: two grandchildren- Tina Lewis and husband Tim of Smithmill, PA, and Robert Cannistraci and partner, Kristy Johnson of Fallentimber, PA: two great grandchildren- Mikayla and Sidney Lewis: three brothers- George Biddle and wife, Sally of Warriors Mark, Harry Biddle and wife, Shirley of North Carolina, and John Biddle of Tyrone; three sisters- Betty Nahory of Arizona, JOsephine Hamilton of Huntingdon, PA, and Phyllis Cunningham and husband, Clark of Spruce Creek, PA.
He was a retired Army staff sergeant having served in the Korean War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart medal, retiring after 20 years of service. He later retired from MuRata Electronics as a quality control inspector in 1993. He was a member of the American Legion Post 281 in Tyrone and the Democratic party. HE enjoyed gardening, carpentry, and woodworking, time with his favoriter companion, Tipper, and was an avid outdoorsman.
Services will be held on April 7, 2015 at 11 am at Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark with Rev. Aden Wertz officiating. Burial will be at Burket Cemetery, Warriors Mark with military honors.∼April 4, 2015 Altoona Mirror
Clifford A. Biddle, 86, Smithmill, died Wednesday at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.
