Oil Executive's Wife Passes in Hospital


Mrs. Blanche B. Little, aged 53, of 922 Shady Way, wife of a prominent Wichita oil man, died Friday at Wesley hospital after a short illness.


She was born in Vienna, Mo., Apr. 26, 1895, and came to Wichita 20 years ago from Russell, Kan. She was married Apr. 19, 1920 in Jefferson City, Mo., to John M. Little, now production superintendent in Wichita of the Vickers Petroleum company.


Mrs. Little was a member of St. Paul's Methodist church and the 20th Century club.


Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Joan, at home; two sons, John, Jr., and Bill B., at home, and three sisters, Mrs. Grace Cabe, Seminole, Okla., Mrs. Edith Cabe, McMinnville, Ore., and Mrs. Sarah Branson, Holtville, Cal. Funeral services will be announced by the Cochran mortuary.

LITTLE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche B. Little of 922 Shadyway, who passed away Friday evening in a local hospital will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2:30 from the chapel of the Cochran Mortuary. Dr. Otto Volkland of the St. Paul Methodist church will officiate. Interment will be in the Wichita Park cemetery. This is a Cochran service.
