He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frieda.
Survivors are: his wife, Marilyn; son, Dale; stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, Loring Fenn, Doug and Sharon Fenn, Alan and Jill Fenn and six grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives..
He was a pharmacist for 40 years with practices in Lincoln and Sidney. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Air Force in Southwest Pacific with distinctive service. In 1970, Adams organized the first reunion of his wartime unit, the 90th Bomb Group, which served in the southwest Pacific.
Loyde was a member of First-Plymouth Congregational Church; Frank Welch Lodge 75, A.F. & A.M., Sidney,; York Rite of Nebraska, Gering; Sesostris Temple of the Shrine, Lincoln; VFW Post 610, Sidney; life member of Military Cooties No. 4, DAV 7, both of Lincoln, and the American Legion, Pleasant Dale.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers and his parents.
