DUNN-KANE Wedding

Miss Cora Francis Dunn and Alfred J. Kane were united in marriage Saturday evening, July 24, at 8:30 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Dunn on West Wea Street. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W. S. Lowe, Pastor of the Christian church, in the presence of the bride's relatives and several intimate friends.

The bride is well known to almost every one in Paola and is among our best young women. She was raised here, for three years was a teacher in the primary department of the Paola schools and had been engaged for another year, tendering her resignation last week. The groom is a son of John Kane of Wichita, Kansas, who for many years lived in Stanton and Valley- twps and in Paola. He is a grand-son of the late Judge D. B. Wilson and a nephew of James Kane of Osawatomie. He is an industrious and enterprising young man and has a position with a plate glass factory at Wichita. Bride and groom took the midnight Missouri Pacific train for Wichita, where they will reside. They have the best wishes of many friends.
