Mrs. Lola M. Low, 85, of the Fontana area, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 1981, at Holiday Manor at Osawatomie.

Daughter of the late Perry and Mahala Land Dunn, she was born in Paola Feb. 19, 1896. On Sept. 19, 1923 she was married to Clarence A. Low.

Mrs. Low was a member of the Fontana Christian Church. She was a 50-year member of the State Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star of Fontana and was a charter member of the Harry M. McDill Post No. 381 American Legion Auxiliary of Fontana.

Others preceding her in death were a brother and three sisters.

A son, Donald Low of Fontana; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, survive.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 21, at the Wilson & Son Chapel in Paola. The Rev. Brad Fogo, pastor of the Fontana Christian Church, officiated. Mrs. Virginia Reese provided organ selections.

Burial was in the Fontana Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers were Eldon Mills, Ralph Mathews, Lester Wilson, Vernon Moore, John Jamison and Lawrence Rhynerson.
