Harry D. Hoerner, 89, of Colonial Manor Nursing Home, York, formerly of Harrisburg, died Saturday at his residence.
He was retired from Bell of Pennsylvania and was a member of Harris Street United Methodist Church and the Telephone Pioneers of America, Keystone Chapter.
He was the widower of Clara Brickner Hoerner. Surviving are two sons, Charles M. of York and Douglass A. of Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.; two sisters, Marian Sweigart of Merritt Island, Fla., and Audrey Gilbert of Woodbridge, Va.; a brother, Russell G. of Willow Street; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Musselman Funeral Home, Lemoyne. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
