Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've walked many graveyards, seeing stones in bad shape, and wondered what would happen to them as time marched on. This site is a wonderful way to preserve, if not the actual stone, at least a replica by photograph for the future.

If you are related and can enhance the memorial by adding additional information, please request transfer, giving me your relationship. No transfers just for collection of a particular family name. If you do want a transfer, be sure you are committed to a lifetime of maintaining the memorial. Sadly, a few of my older transfers are maintained by contributors who no longer respond.

When sending information to add, include verifiable source of information. All edits will be verified before being accepted. With quick edits, this is still important so unless evident on memorial, please use the other suggestion and include source. Online trees, such as ancestry's, and family reports are not valid sources unless sources are noted.

I no longer add dates of birth that are calculated from age at death unless a photo of the stone is legible. (I got caught on a couple bad transcriptions which threw off the calculated birthdate).

Links will not be made to memorial in unknown cemeteries, as the site is meant to document burial locations.

If you have taken better gravestone photos that what I've posted, please post yours and send a message.

I may try to contact contributors if I question an edit. For those who hide themselves completely by not showing email or allowing comments, my only choice is to decline and hope they resubmit with additional information.

Let me know if you have any questions on my listings - I love a good genealogy search and will try to help if possible!

Happy graving to all!

James Mason Fritz
Paul Lloyd Showvaker
Hello,
I am working on a history of the descendants of Jacob Fritz who died in Strasburg, Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1765. Paul Lloyd Showvaker is a fellow descendant. You posted information from an unknown newspaper clipping and I had a couple of questions.
Does the article actually use the spelling of his surname as Showaker? or do you think it was a typographical error in the news article as the name is actually Showvaker. Also, the article mentions he was survived by three daughters and gives them as "Linda R. Showaker and Paul Zimmerman, RD Newville, and Bonnie M. Showaker, at home." Is this possibly a typo also and should have read Paula Zimmerman? Any assistance you can provide in answering these questions would be greatly appreciated.
Finally, by any chance are these your relatives too?
Thank you,
Jim Fritz

Thank you so much for the death records on Theodore and Jennie Jones. That helped so much on adding to my grandparents tree!

RE: Bennie & Milton Kline edits
Hi,

A lot of my information came from Milton's daughter. I've used census records, etc., too.

Benjamin is my great grandmother's brother.

Hope this helps,
Suzie

Shirley Kellum
I submitted the memorial numbers for Shirley's father and mother. Shirley was a half-sister to my mother. I created a memorial for her father, my grandfather. I believe it will connect her to my mother. I am trying to locate all my mother's siblings. She never got to meet them. I would love to see a picture of the headstone for Shirley. If there isn't one, I will be in the area in a couple of weeks and I might be able to get a picture for you. Thanks for all you do. In fact the obituary you have here is what let me finish finding the other siblings of my mother. I got to meet the uncle in Michigan last year.

RE: Jennie Kiner edit
That information is on line 15 of her death certificate. Note, she was illegitimate, which is why she has the same maiden name as her mother. Her father's last name was not Clouse.
