Graveside services were held at the Green Valley Cemetery at Furley at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Barker was born Oct 14, 1884 to Lewis and Martha Catt near Homer, Ohio. She moved to Kansas as a small child and grew up in the Golden Gate community south of Potwin. On March 2, 1902, she married William Elmer Barker and he died in 1946. Margaret had lived in El Dorado with her son, Lewis Barker, from 1946 until 1977, when she moved to the Walnut Valley Manor at Augusta, KS.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ellen Hull of Topeka, Mrs. Nola Howrey and Mrs. Cleo Weber, both of El Dorado; three sons, Lewis Barker, Delbert Barker and Victor Barker, all of El Dorado, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, two daughters, a sister and a brother.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
