Sarah J McNinch
The funeral of Sarah J McNinch of Sublette, Ill., was held from the Congressional church of Sublette, of which she was a member, Saturday afternoon, Jan 21. Rev. E. W. Annable conducting the services, and the remains were laid to rest in Peterson cemetery. Sarah Jane Jaquay was born at Lima, Livingston county, N. Y., June 16, 1844, and died Jan. 29, 1903. In January 1862 she was united in marriage to W. J. McNinch, and together they made their home in New York until 1871, when they came to Sublette, where they have since lived. Mrs. McNinch was the mother of twelve children, ten of whom are still living, namely: - Ada wife of Clarence Millard, of Minneapolis, Minn., Clifford of Bradford, Ill., Esther, wife of Seth Baker, Chamberlin, S. D., Emma, whose home is in Clinton, Ia., Myrne, wife of George McNinch rock Falls, Ill., and Cora wife of Alonzo Billings, Edward, Sadie, Lawrence, and William all of Sublette. Besides these she leaves her husband, and one brother Elrood Jaquay of Neponset, Ill., and many near relatives.
