Death Takes Mrs. John Heier
Mrs. John Heier passed away Wednesday morning about 9:00 a. m. after a lengthy illness. She had been a patient at the hospital in Quinter for the past two months.
Mrs. Heier would have been 61 years old on Thursday.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Sacred Heart Church at Park, Friday morning at 9:00 a. m.

OBITUARY --- Mrs. John Heier
Mrs. Mary Heier, daughter of George and Mary Heisler, was born near Franzfeld, Russia, on May 26, 1888. She came to America with her sister at the age of fifteen.
On November 21, 1910 she was united in marriage to John Heier of Park. To this union eight children were born, all surviving.
She died in the Quinter hospital on May 25, 1949 after a lingering illness.
She leaves to mourn her husband, John and three children in the home, Nicholas, Theodore and Fidelis; Anton Heier of Grainfield; Mrs. Clara Uhrich of Collyer; George Heier of Park; Mrs. Ida Schwarzenberger, Collyer; Mrs. Margaret Zerr of Park; seventeen grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Frank Bischoff of Mendham, Sask., Canada and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held from the Sacred Heart Church, Park, with a Solemn Requiem Mass offered by Fr. Clement Weber of Park, assisted by Fr. Hogan of Grainfield and Fr. Kneipp of Collyer. Interment in the Sacred Heart cemetery.
Pallbearers were Andrew Ziegler, Carl Kaiser, Lawrence Zerr, Leo Heier, Frank Kaiser and Bill Schlick.
