Jacob H. Lane Sr., 69, of Goochland, died April 23, 2004. Survivors include his very special friend, Margaret Gibson; a son, Jake H. Lane Jr. and wife, Donna of Bumpass; a daughter, Barbara Anne Gentry and husband, Ronnie of Bumpass; three brothers, Orman, Eldridge and Ted; three sisters, Dorothy Ross, Barbara Cole and Jeanette Payne; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 West Broad Street. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, with interment to follow at Westhampton Memorial Park.
