LANE, Orman Coty, 81, of Short Pump, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2009. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister, Jacob, Elridge and Barbara Jane; and two grandchildren, Ashley Lynn and Joseph Coty Cash. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jane Elizabeth Lane; son, John Coty Lane; sisters and brother, Dot Ross, Jeanette Payne and Ted Lane; stepdaughter and stepson, Joyce Dewsbury and Ray Rommel; and a large loving family. Family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 30 at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 West. Broad St., where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park.
