LANE, Eldridge (Bagger), 71, of Richmond, died August 17, 2007. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda; a sister, Barbara Cole; and one brother, Jacob. He was a pipefitter for 35 years with the Virginia Sprinkler Company. His interests included NASCAR as a serious Jeff Gordon fan, and collecting things from garage sales. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol; sons, Frankie, Jerry, Bobby and Mike; and daughter, Sandra Thomas; and stepson, Erwin Pollard; seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Orman and Ted; and two sisters, Dot Ross and Jeanette Paine. Visitation will be Monday, August 20, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Graveside service Tuesday, 1 p.m., at Westhampton Cemetery, with Rev. Elton Cooke officiating.
