James Edwards
GREENVILLE - James Edwards,
76, Greenville Turnpike,
here, died Saturday at home after
a long illness. He was a lifelong
area resident.

The son of Stephen and Mary
Hawkins Edwards, he was born
Aug. 2, 1990 in Mongaup. He was
married to the former Margaret
Wamboldt, who survives.

Mr Edwards was a retired em-
ploye of the Erie and Lackawanna
Railroad and a member of the
Brotherhood of Railroad trainmen.
He was also a member of the Port
Jervis First Baptist Church.

Surviving him are three sons
Edward Jr , Jose and Harold, all
of Greenville, a brother, George of
Hugeunot four sisters, Mrs Alice
Burrows, Mrs Emma Anderson,
and Mrs. Matilda Lewis all of
Huguenot, and Mrs. Edith Henry
of Port Jervis, five grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a. m. Tues-
day at Knight Funeral Home, 154
E. Main St., Port Jervis. The Rev.
Robert E. Foster of the Port
Jervis First Baptist Church will of
officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral
home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.
Monday.

Burial will be in the Pine Hill
Cemetery Sparrowbush.

Contributions may be made to
the Port Jervis First Baptist
Church.
