Mrs. Sarah ELSFELDER HUNT, 62, widow of the late John HUNT, died at 10:10 o'clock Saturday night at the home of a daughter, Mr. And Mrs. H.M. Shoop, 215 West Water Street, following several months illness.
Born in Wayne County, Illinois on November 7, 1886, Mrs. HUNT was a lifelong resident here.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Hazel Shoop, Mrs. Martha ELLIOTT and Mrs. Joan Weist, all of Princeton. Mrs. Bessie Winingear, Muncie, Mrs. Grace 'Ditty' Sterling, Galveston, Tex., and Mrs. Polly Wood, Belmont, Ill.; a son, Clarence 'Sunny' HUNT, Muncie; two sisters, Mrs. Libby Weist and Mrs. Anna Strawn, Princeton; three brothers, Thomas and Henry ELSFELDER, Princeton, and Wilbur ELSFELDER, Montgomery, Ala; 16 grandchildren. The husband, John HUNT, died December 1946.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Colvin and Son Chapel, with the Rev. Minvil Clark, pastor of the General Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in White church cemetery, southwest of this city.
Mrs. HUNT is at the Colvin & Son mortuary, where friends may call.
