Son of Jacob Kisling and Catherine Sheffer. He married Christena Davidson and they had 12 children, but sadly only 5 lived to adulthood. 6 babies died and one child Harriet and the seven are buried all in a row next to their parents. The children are Margareta, Mary Catherine, John W., David Isley, Richard Benton, Ellen Jane, Josephine, Harriet E., Elizabeth "Bessie", George Washington Jr., Rosette, and Luther.
