Barry Allan Long of Clarendon died November 29, 2002 in Amarillo. He was 47 years old at the time of his death.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2002 in Citizens Cemetery, Clarendon with Don McMahan, minister of the First United Methodist Church of Turkey, officiating.
Born January 19, 1955, in Wellington to Bill and Anne Long. Barry graduated from Wellington High School with the Class of 1973. He graduated from Clarendon Junior College and graduated from Dallas Mortuary School. He was a member of the National Mortician Fraternity, Phi Theta Kappa Fraternity and Who's Who of American Junior Colleges.
He had been a funeral director for past 27 years and was a member of Masonic Lodge 695.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Myers-Long of Clarendon, his parents, Bill and Anne Long of Wellington; his sister, Debra Belew of Wellington and his brother, Brent Long of Carrollton.
