Mrs. Fowler died at 4 p.m. Saturday at Crosbyton Hospital after an illness.
She was born on Nov. 8, 1903, in Paris, Texas. She moved to Crosby County in 1920. She married Ralph E. Fowler, on August 27, 1922, in Crosby County. He died in February 1971.
She was a member of Crosby County Senior Citizens, the Big 4 Home Demonstration Club, and was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Esther Sunday School Class.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Doral) Brixey of Crosbyton and Mrs. Melvin (Ouita) Powell of Ralls; three brothers, Elra Oden of Morton, Willie F. Oden of Phoenix, Ariz. and Edmond Oden of Houston; a sister, Mrs. Cecil Diggs of Levelland; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
