Mary Watson was a daughter of Isham Watson and his wire Mary Hayes. She married James B. LeGette (1821-1879) around 1847, and they had at least seven children: Sarah Ellen LeGette (15 Jan. 1848-10 Dec. 1927, m. George Kindred Caddell), Salathiel I. W. LeGette (7 May 1850-26 Dec. 1866), Samuel E. LeGette (c. 1854-?), Ida LeGette (c. 1856), Mary I. LeGette (20 Feb. 1859-30 Sept. 1874), Martha J. LeGette (c. 1861-?), James A. LeGette (c. 1867).

They were in Marlboro Co., SC in 1850, in Marion Co. in 1860-70.
