Norway - Mrs. Juddie Lou Boltin O'Brien Webb, 100, of Norway, died Monday, June 24, 2013, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at Norway Baptist Church, 5004 Norway Road, Norway, with grandson the Rev. R. Darrell Boyleston and the Rev. Ryan Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Baptist Church cemetery in Neeses. The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Pallbearers will be grandsons Lee Creech, Steve Boyleston and John Boyleston, and great-grandsons Brian, Kevin, Christopher, Andrew, Gatlin and Riley Boyleston. Mrs. Webb was born Sept. 22, 1912, in Norway, a daughter of the late Walter Hilliard Boltin and the late Gertrude Fogle Boltin Robinson. She was a member of Norway Baptist Church. She was a homemaker for much of her life and a wonderful cook, as many can attest. Her yards were immaculate and adorned with an assortment of beautiful flowers and shrubs. She took great pride in them was delighted to have visitors stop by for a tour. In recent years, she had been a resident of UniHealth Post-Acute Care of Bamberg. She made caregivers her friends, but her most beloved and special friend was Wendy Eidson. She was predeceased by her husbands, Harvey L. O'Brien and James E. Webb; sisters, Marie (Clinton) O'Brien and Lula Mae (Rubert) Garrick; brothers, Raymond (Agnes) Boltin, Earl (Dorothy) Boltin, Mobley (Jennie) Boltin and Aerial Boltin; and a half-brother, Parker Robinson. She was also predeceased by a son-in-law, Ruby L. Creech. Survivors include two daughters, Maida O. Creech of Norway and Loretta O. (John Robert) Boyleston of Orangeburg; grandchildren, Lee Creech of Norway, Steve (Diane) Boyleston of Orangeburg, Darrell (Judy) Boyleston of Neeses and John (Lisa) Boyleston of Leesville; great-grandchildren, Abbigail Boyleston (Steven) Reynolds, Taylor Boyleston, Emily Boyleston, Brian (Marcee) Boyleston, Kevin Boyleston, Christopher Boyleston, Andrew (Chance) Boyleston, Gatlin Boyleston and Riley Boyleston; and a great-great-grandson, Hunter Boyleston. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Lorraine Boltin of columbia and Ruddelle Woodham of Darlington; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Boyleston, 3488 Neeses Highway, Orangeburg, and Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Orangeburg. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at the funeral home.
