Lee (also called Lizzie by her family) was born at Spicer, near Albany, soon after the family moved from Kansas to Oregon. She married Mortz Averhoff in 1908; he died in 1945. She then married Oren "Dutch" Morris in 1948. He died in !958. She is survived by her son, Dr. Wilmer Averhoff of Texas, and two daughters, Waneta Averhoff of San Francisco, and Pearl Lord of Lake Oswego, OR.
