Bertie Aline Lee was the daughter of Moses David Land and Mary Loretta Lee. She was born in Princess Anne County, Virginia and died in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was married to Cecil Peter Land.

Other brothers besides Hilton were Milton, Harry, Earl and Vernon Lee. See sister Bernice Mosley's memorial at Charity Church cemetery in Virginia Beach.



Bertie "Honey" L. Land, 88, of the 200 block of North Landing Road, died Jan. 23, 1998.
Born in Princess Anne County, Va., she was the widow of Cecil P. Land and a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Marion L. Armel of Virginia Beach; two sons, Elliott L. Land of Dunnsville, Va., and Floyd E. Land of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Maude Jackson, Mary Davis, Bernice Mosley and Lorraine Pledger, all of Virginia Beach; a brother, Hilton Lee of Virginia Beach; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Frank W. Land.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Riverside Memorial Park by the Rev. Charles N. Moore. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel.
