AIKEN - Mrs. Edith Tarver Wallenburg, 87, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, in Columbia.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church with Father Leon Mozeliak officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Wallenburg, a native of Augusta, had retired as a schoolteacher. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Trenton Chapter, where she was regent and registrar,, Aiken Green Gardeners, Outing Club and St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Edith Shelton, Columbia, Elizabeth Spruell, Aiken, Grace Siebert, Charlotte, N.C., and Catherine McNeight, Palo Cedro, Calif.; two sisters, Elizabeth Thurmond, North Augusta, and Grace DuBose, Aiken; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be George Spruell, Tim McNeight, Gary Shelton, Mark Siebert, John Siebert and Tarver Siebert.
Memorials may be made to St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church Organ Fund, 224 Pendleton St., Aiken, SC 29801; or to York Place, 234 Kingsmountain St., York, SC 29745.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Shellhouse Funeral Home.
