She was born Oct. 25, 1925, near Browning, the daughter of William E. and Lela Marie Belville Humphrey. She married William Robert Barnett on Feb. 8, 1946, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 1985.
Surviving are her sister, Margaret (husband, Gary) Bopp of Astoria and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, William Robert Barnett Jr.; two brothers, Allie and Andy Humphrey; and four sisters, Ethel Pripich, Garnet Swartz, Emma Hamlin and Leona Bollinger.
June was a member of Browning United Methodist Church. She was formerly employed with National Distillery in Peoria and also was a hostess at The Senior Center in Browning.
She enjoyed shopping, reading and bowling.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010, at Browning United Methodist Church, with burial in Browning Cemetery. The family will meet with friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
Memorials have been suggested to The Senior Center in Browning.
