Leona Bollinger
Astoria - Leona A. Bollinger, 59, of Astoria died at 12:08 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, 1995, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
Born Dec. 8, 1935, in Peoria to William and Marie Belville Humphrey, she married Robert E. Bollinger on Oct. 18, 1952, in Astoria. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Paula Bollinger of Astoria; four sons, Bill of Kincaid, Randy of Browning, Rick of Astoria and Jeff of Summum; two brothers, Al Humphrey of Mount Sterling and Andy Humphrey of Peoria; four sisters, Ethel Purpich of Peoria, June Barnette of Bluff City, Emma Hamblin of Browning and Margaret Bopp of Astoria; and 20 grandchildren. One sister preceded her in death.
She was a nurse's aide at Astoria Healthcare Center. She was a member of Bader Christian Church in Bader.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. The Rev. James Shirley will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the memorial home. Burial will be in Browning Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
