Norman M. Merritt, 53, expired at a local hospital Thursday morning. He had been a resident of Bremerton for the past three years and was employed as a shipfitter in the Navy Yard.
He leaves his wife, Ruth, at the family home; two sons, Royal and Jack of the US Navy and two daughters. Mrs. Norma D. Hill of San Francisco and Mrs. Katherine Olson of Bremerton; also his parents: Mr. and Mrs. M. Merritt of Valentine, MT; two brothers: Irwin and Robert of MT and two grandchildren.
The body is at Miller-Reynolds awaiting funeral arrangements.
