Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Monday in Tulare Cemetery for Madalyn P. Grippin, 81, Tulare, who died Wednesday [19 June] in a Tulare hospital.
Mrs. Grippin was born in Quaker Springs, N.Y. She retired after working for the phone company in New York for more than 20 years. After living in Astoria, Ore., for 19 years, she moved to Tulare in 1985. She was a homemaker. She married Theodore Grippin in 1958 in Bennington, Vt.
In addition to her husband in Tulare, she is survived by one daughter, Lois Fishbough, Tulare; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The Rev. James Bowser will officiate. Arrangements are by Miller’s Tulare Funeral Home.
