She was born on Sept. 10, 1938, in Tiskilwa, Ill., to the late Joseph Oral and Emily (Davis) Clyde. She married William Franklin Barnett on Oct. 22, 1954, in Sparland. He survives.
She also is survived by sons, Michael (Lynn) Barnett of Forest, Ill., and Greg Barnett of LaSalle, Ill.; daughters, Debbie Wilkinson of Sparland, Ill., and Jannice Miller of Chillicothe, Ill.; brother, James L. (Linda) Jason of Lacon, Ill.; sisters, June (Russ) Asher of Dover, Tenn., and Sandy (Wilbur) Schierer of Lacon, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Phelps; a brother, Roger Jason; and a sister, Mabel Fandel.
Orla worked for Caterpillar Inc. in Mossville, Harper Wyman in Princeton and Variety Specialty Amusement in Lacon.
She was a life member of the VFW East Peoria Auxiliary.
Interment will be in Lacon Cemetery.
