Funeral services for Ralph C. Yount, 84, of Whittier, will be conducted Wednesday, at 2:30 p.m., in the East Whittier Methodist Church, with the Rev. Donald E. Inlay and the Rev. Donald Blackie officiating. Interment will follow in the Memory Garden Memorial Park.

Mr. Yount was born Nov. 8, 1894, in Tippecanoe City, Ohio. He was a member of the Whittier Lodge No. 323 F.&A.M. and the East Whittier United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War I. He died Jan. 27, 1979, in the La Mirada Community Hospital.

He is survived by a son, Lawrence Yount of Bakersfield; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Cindy Yount of La Habra; and grandsons, Brian and Michael Yount.
