Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Avers & Alspaugh Funeral Home, 1846 North Main Street. Burial was made in Memorial Park.
Nephews Carl and John E. Shaffer of Tipp City, Dan H. Yount of Columbus, Tom Fry of Dayton, and Frank Yount, Jr. and George Gnodle of Troy, served as pallbearers. During the services the hymns "Abide With Me" and "In the Garden" were read.
Mr. Yount was the son of the late Harrison and Adelaide Yount and is survived by six brothers, Ralph of Los Angeles, Calif., Harvey and Howard of Columbus, Noah of Tipp City, Edward of Piqua, and Frank of Troy. There are two other sisters; Mrs. Ethel Shaffer of Tipp City, and Mrs. Grace Westfall of Walton, Ind. His wife, Mrs. Mamie Fry Yount, died four years ago.
