She died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002.
She was born Sept. 2, 1918, in Knox City, where she attended school. She married Windell Eugene McAda in Knox City. He died in 1976. She moved to Lubbock in 1955 from Knox City.
She worked for Levine's Department Store as a sales clerk for 17 years before retiring. She was a member of the T.O.P.S. Weight Loss Center.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Gerene Day; and a grandson.
Survivors include three sons, Terry and Jerry, both of Acuff, and Windell of Lubbock; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
