Cortus, who has been ill about a week, returned to Winnfield from a government camp in Pensacola, Fla., about two weeks ago. He would have been seventeen years old on September 3.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Felix, two brothers, Everett and Harry, and two sisters, Mrs. Lela May Culpepper and Mary Elizabeth.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Miller, of Alexandria, out of town relatives will arrive Friday for the funeral.
