Funeral services for Lela Mae Culpepper will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 20, 1999 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in the Winnfield City Cemetery.

Mrs. Culpepper, age 91, died Friday, November 12, 1999 in Bradenton, FL. She was a native of Winnfield and a resident of New Orleans for 55 years. Mrs. Culpepper was a retired bookkeeper from the New Orleans Law Firm of Terriberry, Rault, Young and Carroll.

Mrs. Culpepper is the daughter of the late Lillie Daniels and Charles Felix. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Culpepper in 1986.

She is survived by one son and a daughter-in-law, William R. Culpepper and Julia Abigail Culpepper of Bradenton, FL and one sister, Mary E. Parker of Winnfield, LA; five grandchildren and their spouses, James Culpepper and wife Linda, Timothy Culpepper and wife Ivelisse of Houston, TX, Deborah Colon of Bradenton, FL, William Culpepper Jr. and wife Vivianne of Houston, TX and Karen Lewellyn and husband Roger of Hesperia, CA and 16 great grandchildren.

Friends may call in the Funeral Home Friday from 7-10 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of services.
